I have to start by saying Happy New Year! This year is going to be brilliant :)

Today I’m going to write a review on the Trevor Sorbie hair products I received for Christmas. No one will probably care about this post but you never know – someone might!

I was given the Wash & Style Bag which consists of Trevor Sorbie’s Two in One shampoo and Moulding Mud which are both presented in a nice little wash bag – very handy for travelling and the like. The shampoo is absolutely brilliant. It has a lovely smell and I always come out of the shower with lovely soft hair when I use it. Unfortunately, the Moulding Mud isn’t so great though. It works well if i put a small amount of the product in my hair before blowdrying it, giving my hair separation and a nice texture but after a few hours my hair begins to look and feel greasy. Aside from that, Moulding Mud isn’t actually that bad. Would I use it everyday? No. But I’d definitely use it on those special occasions when VO5 and other drugstore brands aren’t enough.

Trevor Sorbie has produced a brilliant gift set here with two excellent products (ok, one excellent and one average). I’d definitely buy both of these products again but if I had to choose I would choose the shampoo over the Moulding Mud any day.

I swear if one more person writes a ‘new year, new me’ Facebook status, I am going to poke my eyes out and delete my account. You’re not going to be ‘new’ at all, you’ll be exactly the same. Sure, your personality may change and you might change the way you look but that’s not enough to class those changes as a ‘new you’. It’s not like you’ve been reborn, is it? Rant over. Let’s continue the post.

It’s New Year’s Eve and I’ve only just chose my resolutions. I absolutely suck when it comes to choosing them. I probably struggle to choose them because I’m so indecisive. I really have to think things through before finalising my decisions. Also, I don’t want to choose something completely unrealistic. Some people must choose the strangest things as New Year’s resolutions, like ‘climb Kilimanjaro in 48 hours’ or ‘complete the London marathon faster than Paula Radcliffe’. These may or may not have been made up on the spot.

So here’s my list of realistic resolutions:

Lose weight
I think a lot of people say they want to lose weight. I’m aiming to lose at least 2 stone before I go to Crete in August. That should be doable.

Save money
I am the worlds worst saver. I had a nice little bit of money saved up for quite a few years which I only used money from once to buy christmas presents but more recently I’ve spent a lot more of it. I want to try and re-save at least a couple of hundred pounds in 2012.

Make more videos
I love YouTube but recently I’ve been lacking when it comes to posting videos. I’m not gonna lie, I want to be successful on YouTube but to do that I’m going to have to be committed. I’m not going to have a schedule but I’ll upload videos as often as I can.

Study hard
This isn’t just an aspiration. This is a must. I have the first of my GCSE exams in just 12 days then I’ll be taking the majority of them in June. JUNE! That’s not far away at all. I’ve been predicted to get 5 As and I want to do my best to make sure I achieve and exceed those predictions.

I hope you all have a brilliant New Year’s Eve. The next time I post it’ll be 2012!

Oh, how I’ve missed blogging. I had some problems with my old host so I just held out until my hosting with them had finished and am now using a fantastic new host!

I’ve been a bit lost without my blog. It’s just a great place to come and moan about everything or just think out loud.

I was reading through all of my old posts and decided that I didn’t want them on my main blog. When I get to posts from 2-3 years ago I cringe when I see what I was like back then. I wrote so much pointless crap and I switch off before I even start reading most of it. Saying that, I didn’t want to get rid of them. Those posts hold memories, some good, some bad, but they must’ve meant something to me to write them in the first place, so I’ve moved all of my old posts to another site.

And because I’m lazy I haven’t bothered to design a nice theme for my blog before opening it. I’ll get one done soon enough but in the meantime I’m using this gorgeous theme by Michael Whalen
